The Highland Badger Network Protecting badgers in the Scottish Highlands -------------------------- SCOTTISH BADGERS "Scottish Badgers" is an umbrella organisation created by volunteer badger groups, networks and individuals to protect badgers, their setts and habitat throughout Scotland. The Highland Badger Network is represented by its Co-ordinator on the Scottish Badgers Executive Committee. Joining Scottish Badgers is an effective way for anyone concerned about the welfare of badgers in any part of Scotland to help. On joining you will receive a welcome pack containing information sheets on badgers, together with a sett recording form. Each quarter you will be sent a Newsletter "Scottish Badger" packed with information about what has been happening around the country. The organisation has public liability and personal accident insurance which gives you automatic cover when you are involved in activities linked to Scottish Badgers. |

| Members
of the Highland Badger Network are strongly urged to join Scottish Badgers.
The insurance cover alone is well worth the annual subscription, and
on this subject it is worth bearing in mind that, in these days of people
being sued at every opportunity, leaders of training sessions and surveys
may not be prepared to take responsibility for anyone not adequately
covered by insurance.
