The Strathspey Badger Hide

The hide is an independant project managed under the umbrella of the Boat of Garten Community Company Wildlife Group.

It was was set up in 1996 to provide people of all ages with the chance to watch wild badgers at close quarters.

The hide was built with the help of funds from Scottish Natural Heritage and is now maintained from the donations made by visitors to the hide, suggested as follows:

Adults - £10
Accompanied children - no charge.

Surplus funds are used to help worthy wildlife causes.

The hide is normally open from 15th February to 15th May and 15th July to 15th November inclusive - booking enquiries can be made by filling out this form (please bear in mind that the hide is quite small and will only take six adults plus our guide per visit.):
